PS3 to have parental controls

It is rumoured that that PS3 is to have a buolt in parental control system in it. There will be a chip in the PS3 that recognises a code on game discs indicating an age rating. If your parents set the PS3 to block 18+ games, you won't be able to play 18+ games no matter what.

Do you think this is a good idea, or do you think it will deter people from buying the PS3?

Well how did these kids get 18+ games in the first place i mean why buy them waste money and then block them its completely pointless

Obviously some kids will want to test the system to see if it's a load of twaddle, but they'll soon find out that it's real.
